Qantas increases profit forecast by 10%

Qantas expects to earn 10% more profits in 2001/02 than it originally forecast.
Before-tax earnings are expected to reach $605m, up from the previous forecast of $550m. This also means Qantas would exceed its 2000/01 before-tax result of $597.1m.
