Shortage of logistics skills critical

The near crisis-level skills shortage in the logistics industry was raised at the Australian Logistics Council forum in Melbourne last week.
The number of staff under the age of 19 is falling at a rate of 4% a year, and by 2008, more people will leave the workforce than enter it, ALC chairman Ivan Backman warned the more than 100 industry...
