A Shipping Australia delegation was to meet senior federal ministers and departmental officials in Canberra yesterday to explain the importance of the Part X liner shipping regulations.
Last October's draft recommendation from the Productivity Commission that the blanket exemptions for liner shipping be replaced is the closest that the Part X system has yet been to being scrapped.
