The shortlist to develop a third coal loader at the port of Newcastle has been narrowed to two proponents with a final decision to be made in August, New South Wales premier Bob Carr said.
The two groups vying for the 140-ha site on Kooragang Island are the Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group (which is a consortium of Excel Coal, Centennial Coal, BHP Billiton, White Mining, Donaldson Coal and AMCI Mining) and Port Waratah Coal Services...
