Ferry rescue plan `ad hoc'

Ferry giant Stena Line was blasted by a High Court judge last week for failing to learn the lessons of the Estonia and Marchioness disasters.
The judge attacked them in a case over the death of a passenger, who fell from the Koningen Beatrix into the Irish Sea in October 2000.
