Kuehne + Nagel consolidates
Logistics giant Kuehne +Nagel is to underline its position as the world's top maritime freight forwarder through new products and markets, chief executive Klaus Herms said.
The Swiss company was responsible last year for managing the movement of 1.6m teu worldwide, an increase of more than 28% on 2003.
Mr Herms estimates that Kuehne +Nagel has a 1.5% share of the global maritime container market.
