Swire set to shuffle NGPL service into new loops

Swire Shipping has restructured its New Guinea Pacific Line, dropping the New Zealand leg of the service and adding in a new eastbound new link from southeast Asia to Papua New Guinea.

NGPL had been operating with four ships on a southeast Asia/PNG/Australia /New Zealand/southeast Asia rotation, covered fortnightly.

The service will now reduce to three ships, giving up transTasman sector while still maintaining a fortnightly service in its core Asian, PNG,...
