Maersk plans Asian three-into-one switch

Maersk is to integrate its three Asia-Australia strings into a single “mega” service in pursuit of trade stability and operational efficiency.

A formal announcement was expected within days as contract negotiations with various parties are finalised, but Lloyd's List DCN understands the new service will combine the existing AU1 (north Asia), AU2 (east Asia) and AU3 (southeast Asia) loops into one...
