Kiel Canal to expand

German shipbrokers and politicians have pledged to go ahead with the expansion of the Kiel Canal.
The canal is Europe's arterial transport way, that is why we need modernisation, Peter Harry Carstensen, prime minister of the state of Schleswig Holstein, where the canal is located, said.
