AQIS, Customs: Fast-track users with clear records
Australia's customs and quarantine authorities have given their in-principle support to a move to apply less scrutiny to cargo brought in by importers with unblemished records.
Responding to calls for greater speed and industry-involvement, Australian Customs Service chief Michael Carmody said he supported a shift to a more flexible, entity-based screening system.
