Freight software provider CargoWise edi took a swipe on Monday at countries and companies resisting what it describes as the “paradigm shift” to automation of the global shipment documentation process.
The source of its frustration was that five years after the International Air Transport Association (IATA) launched the e-Freight initiative and despite growing acceptance of paper-free documentation process, there were still impediments to take-up in many areas.
