Newcastle queue eases as coal exports slip

Coal volumes shipped from the port of Newcastle, the world's largest coal export harbour, dipped 10% to 1.75m tonnes for the week ended August 3.
Newcastle Port Corporation figures showed the ship queue fell to 37, down from a 2009 peak of more than 50 vessels in recent weeks.
Bulkers are waiting to load about 3m tonnes of coal and are waiting an average of 16...
