Centennial confident on Newcastle port capacity

Despite a court finding that it should give up port capacity to fellow miner Xstrata, Centennial Coal was confident of its coal export allocations through Newcastle, the company said today.

Monday's Supreme Court of New South Wales decision, which supported the existing agreements between the pair (that they had been unable to agree a way forward), related to undertakings made during Centennial's sale of Anvil Hill to Xstrata...
