Bullish Sinotrans set for rapid fleet expansion

Sinotrans Shipping, one of China’s largest shipping companies, is set to almost double the size of its fleet from 1.7m dwt to 3.1m dwt by 2011.
The company has earmarked US$381.9m in capital expenditure to expand its fleet.
It is due to take delivery of two handymax and one 2005-built, 76,773 dwt panamax bulk carriers in the second half of this year, along with a 2006-built 1,049...
