Tauranga's profit increase despite downturn
Port of Tauranga has posted a net profit of NZ$45.2m ($36.8m) for the year to June 30, a 7% increase on last year.

Despite the import decline associated with the recession, container volumes decreased 6% during the period, against a 10-year annual average growth of 19.2%.
Total trade for the year was down 0.5% at 13.5m tonnes...
