Taylor Bros win $25m destroyer fit-out
Venerable Tasmanian marine engineering and fit-out firm Taylor Bros Slipway and Engineering has won a $25m contract to fit out three new Hobart-class Air Warfare Destroyers (AWDs).
The five-year contract will be for accommodation products, including cabin and sanitary modules, on-board furniture and galley, pantry and scullery equipment.
