Peak season import demand has driven lines in the North and East Asia-Australia trade to restore services cut earlier this year, but with an interesting twist.

The three Japanese lines of the NEAX/AACA consortium have "jumped ship", switching from their co-operation with the ANL-led AANA to instead partner the Hamburg Sud-led AAUS in a resumption of the latter’s second loop.
