BP to double Townsville bitumen capacity
BP Australia could send up to 12 shipments of bitumen a year to Townsville to service its new bitumen import, manufacturing and distribution facility, a spokesman said yesterday.
The new facility will be capable of supplying 120,000 tonnes of bitumen each year – enough for the development and maintenance of almost 4000 km of road.
