Chemical spill at Brisbane port contained

Emergency services worked throughout the weekend to clean up a chemical spill at the port of Brisbane.

Fisherman Islands was evacuated at 12.35 hrs on Saturday after a container was reported to be leaking ethanol amine, a spokeswoman for the Queensland Fire Service said.

The spokeswoman said the container had leaked about 100 litres of the toxic chemical...
