Car market has bottomed out –Wilhelmsen
THE CAR carrier market has bottomed out, according to one shipowner. The message from the first-half and second-quarter results from Norwegian owner Wilh.
Wilhelmsen showed signs of some optimistic viewing of the horizon as government bailout packages, car recycling schemes and the scrapping and lay-up of tonnage take effect.
The company is now playing a balancing act with tonnage as it waits...
