Flooded tank delays Botany departure
THE GOLDEN Georgia was unable to make her scheduled departure from Port Botany earlier this week as the 16,337 dwt chemical tanker underwent repairs to a flooded tank.
Inspections by class societies and the Australian Maritime Safety Authority will determine when the 1996-built vessel can leave the port.
