MSC levies box surcharge
A SHORTAGE of containers in parts of northern Europe has persuaded Mediterranean Shipping Co to levy an emergency surcharge to cover the cost of repositioning equipment.
The Geneva-based line is to charge an extra US$100 per container for cargo moving to Asia from a range of ports including Antwerp, Le Havre, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Felixstowe and Liverpool
