THE QUEENSLAND Resources Council (QRC) is calling for prompt action on port security measures following the Greenpeace protest that brought coal operations at Hay Point Coal Terminal to a standstill earlier this month.
Coal loading at Hay Point, south of Mackay, was shut down for two full days on August 5 after four activists suspended themselves from coal loading cabling at the site while their ship, the Esperanza, blocked port access.
