LNG plant site secured
AUSTRALIA Pacific LNG has secured the Laird Point site on Curtis Island for its Gladstone liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant, Origin Energy announced on Tuesday.
With Queensland infrastructure and planning minister Stirling Hinchliffe signing the contract for the 230 ha site, Australia Pacific LNG project director Todd Creeger said the securing of Laird Point was the next major step forward for the project.
