IF EVER there were a poisoned chalice for a budding leader looking to take the helm of an Australian port, it would be Esperance.
Oil spills, contamination scandals and other major incidents live long in the memories of anyone unfortunate enough to be affected by them.
Locals can be unforgiving and, as a result, so too can government masters.
Long after the stockpiles...
