Santos and GDF Suez link up for Timor Sea gas project

SANTOS and Gas de France Suez have joined forces to develop a floating liquefied natural gas project off north-west Australia, the Adelaide energy producer said last week.

The move comes as part of a wave of interest from the energy industry in developing remote gas fields with floating production storage and offloading vessels (FPSOs) which can export LNG.
FPSOs eliminate the need to build onshore processing centres...
