THE SUM of experience and understanding of Asciano’s core ports and rail businesses will be reduced significantly as the company loses Doug Schultz and Don Telford within a few months of each other.
Mr Schultz, the divisional general manager of Patrick Container Ports, will depart on August 14 to “pursue other career opportunities”, while Mr Telford, Asciano’s chief operating officer, will retire at a date to be fixed.
