CONTAINER freight rates are reported to be nearing breakeven on intra-Asia trades as volumes pick up.
According to container shipping executives, lines are succeeding in pushing up freight rates on many routes within Asia, as well as on Asia to the Middle East, which many lines consider to be part of the intra-Asia trade.
