Promising signs for new wheat harvest
A BETTER than expected start to the crop season has prompted National Australia Bank to revise higher its wheat production forecast for the next financial year.
According to the bank’s June quarter survey of the agribusiness sector, Australian wheat production is on track to rise by 8% in 2009/10 to 23.2m tonnes.
