Riverwijs bolsters fleet with four new tugs

THE BURGEONING demand for natural gas and the increase in size of tankers has driven Queensland tug operator Riverwijs to undertake a $30m upgrade of its fleet.

Riverwijs will take delivery of four new, more powerful tugs featuring the latest technology from Hong Kong-based Chinese shipbuilder Cheoy Lee starting in August.
