Belgium wins last spot on IMO Council
The Cook Islands, Iran, the Marshall Islands and Pakistan have failed to secure the votes needed to become members of the International Maritime Organization council.
All four countries sought votes to win one of 20 places on the 40-member council available under category C, for countries with special interests in maritime transport.
