Newcastle pilots pay hearing set down for February
The Newcastle Port Corporation and the union representing its pilots will appear before the national workplace relations tribunal early next year to settle their pay dispute.
The two parties lodged an application to Fair Work Australia last week for consent arbitration on salaries for the marine pilots to begin after they reached an "agreement in principle" on all matters relating to the pilots’ employment.
