Container giant Maersk has given Australian shippers mixed news on surcharges for next year.

Pushing prices: Maersk reponds to trying times with hikes in surcharges.

Some surcharges applicable from January 1 will be frozen for the full year but all others due for review are set to be increased, in some cases markedly.

Destination documentation fees will rise from $50 to $55 and origin document fees...
