Anchor forces bulker into Gladstone

The bulker Hai Xiang was in port at Gladstone this morning after encountering anchor problems.
A Maritime Safety Queensland (MSQ) said Hai Xiang – understood to be 174,505 dwt, Panama-flagged, 1996-built and under the control of Singapore's Pacific King Shipping – had not run aground and there had not been any injuries or pollution.
