AMSA detains bulker pending class report

The bulker Hai Xiang, which lost her port anchor on a bunker call at Gladstone yesterday, has been detained.
An Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) spokeswoman said today that the authority would await a report from the ship's classification society, believed to be Japan's NKK, before a decision on whether to release her is made.
