Asia-Europe trades signal worst may be over for boxes

FREIGHT rates in the Asia to Europe container trades are heading back towards 2008 levels as cargo volumes pick up after the worst slump ever experienced.


Having taken a battering for much of the past year as demand collapsed, market conditions appear to be stabilising with latest European Liner Affairs Association data showing some pockets of positively good news.
