Asia-Pacific airfreight numbers seen as a positive sign for ocean cargo

ASIA-PACIFIC airfreight is on the rise after recording 1.9% growth in October on the back of a 3.1% decline in September.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) figures indicated that the region’s carriers had benefited from the airfreight generated by the earlier and stronger economic revival in Asia, with industrial production now rising strongly in a number of economies.
