INTERNATIONAL Chamber of Shipping (ICS) chairman Spyros Polemis has called on the China Shipowners’ Association (CSA) to join the chamber, as a greater voice from China was sought.
“Chinese shipping is so important and China is the only major nation to remain conspicuous by its absence from ICS membership,” Mr Polemis said at the Marintec maritime forum in Shanghai.
