Surge in Chinese coal imports set to slow

CHINESE coal imports are forecast to fall next year as the price differential between imported and domestic coal narrows.
Chinese coal imports have surged 300% to 86m tonnes in the first nine months of the year, five times the volume of coal the country has exported, making it a net importer of coal.
