THE GEM of Safaga, an Indian bulk carrier arrested in Port Kembla last month, was to be the subject of a directions hearing in Sydney on Monday.
As previously reported in Lloyd’s List DCN, the 65,163 dwt bulk carrier called at the port last month and was due to leave on November 3.
She was instead escorted to Sydney because of unavailability of berths at Port Kembla...
