AP Death toll mounts as livestock carrier sinks

RESCUED: Red Cross workers evacuate a man who was pulled from the water after the Danny F.II sank 11 miles off the northern Lebanese port of Tripoli last Thursday.

AT LEAST nine seafarers including a British master have died, with around 35 more still missing, following the capsize of a livestock carrier that was repeatedly found to have stability issues during numerous safety inspections over the last five years.
