OOCL sees trade growth in 2010

BOX CARRIER Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) was set to scale back its program of redelivering chartered-in tonnage next year in the face of renewed growth in container volumes.

OOCL chief financial officer, Ken Cambie, told Lloyd’s List that the company had redelivered 23 vessels this year, a far higher number than the 16 that were initially targeted at the start of the year.
