CMA CGM increases its Gulf of Aden surcharge

CONTAINER line operator CMA CGM is to increase its surcharge on containers it transports through the piracy-prone waters of the Gulf of Aden.
The French group, the third biggest carrier in the world, announced that it would be increasing the surcharge to €41 (US$61) per teu from December 15.
