Port of Melbourne celebration in depth
A NEW sculpture now overlooks the port of Melbourne following the official completion of the channel deepening project – a gift from dredging firm Royal Boskalis Westminster.

Victorian ports minister Tim Pallas, with Boskalis chairman Peter Berdowski in attendance, unveiled the 10-metre artwork at the Port Education Centre.
Called Footprint Alliance, it was created by Dutch sculptor Ruud Kuijer.
