Chinalco tests the water for greater stake in Rio assets

Rio Tinto confirmed this morning it had held discussions with its Chinese shareholder, Chinalco, about the aluminium company's possible acquisition of various interests.
The miner said there was no certainty a transaction would ultimately take place.
The confirmation follows speculation...
