Chinese ports chart new era of single-digit growth figures

Initial port figures have signalled the beginning of the decline of China's double-digit throughput growth era.
Against a backdrop of China's slowest growth in seven years, half of the top eight Chinese ports saw single-digit increases in box volume last year and plunged into negative territory at the end of the year.
