Cairns test for coastal ships

It may not have quite been a Dunkirk but coastal shipping did a sterling job in supplying Cairns in north Queensland over the past week.
Floods had cut road and rail links and it had been too early to take the airlift option, so shipping bore the load as supplies in the city dwindled.
