ABARE sees good signs for summer
The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE) said the country's summer crops should be above average following better than expected rainfall.
Grain yields were expected to be above longer term averages at 2.1m tonnes in 2008/09, according to ABARE's February issue of the Australian Crop Report.
