NOL delays newbuilding orders
Neptune Orient Lines has delayed delivery of all eight of its 10,000 teu ships on order, and some chartered-in newbuildings, as part of plans to save US$250m this year.
NOL, which plunged into the red for the final quarter of 2008, said it had delayed the deliveries ordered by the company and some contracted on charter from other shipowners.
