Shiploader chute drops into harbour

The telescopic chute of a shiploader at the port of Gladstone separated from its main structure and fell into the water on Tuesday February 10.

A Gladstone Ports Corporation spokeswoman said there were no injuries and the accident had not affected the loading of any vessels.

The accident occurred when the chute hit a nearby maintenance platform.
